Students are guaranteed placement at a public school in their neighborhood. If students
wish to attend a public school outside of their attendance boundary they must go through
the out-of-boundary application process. To find out the
attendance boundary for a selected
school, click on the "maps" tab from the school profile page.
There are no boundary restrictions to attend a public charter school or private school
in DC.
